It’s been a dream of mine for a while to be able to make my art into functional products – things that people can actually use, carry with them, wear. For my customers to be able to enjoy beauty every day, any time they want. anywhere they are! To make products that are affordable AND (very importantly) good quality, so they last and give good value.
I think I’ve finally found the manufacturers to help me with my quest – all of the products in my Design shop are designed by me and manufactured in Canada. Even many of the fabrics are milled in Canada – these are high quality and not the typical thin, cheap print on demand fabrics!
Every single item ordered from my Design shop is printed and sewn by hand only once you have ordered – so it takes a little longer than the normal online shop – but well worth it! (With this custom ordering in mind, please use the size charts and measure carefully – clothing runs true to size with these designs and I can’t return due to sizing!)
The shop currently contains just under 200 items, with more being added daily. It’s a lot of work but I’m so happy to be doing it.
I’m especially excited about my range of Plus Size clothing. This is a segment of our population that is very often ignored in the POD sector, and somewhat limited in even retail shops. I want to make it possible for every woman to be able to invest in quality clothing that is just bursting with colour and style! I have a few Plus Size items available, and I am strongly pushing the manufacturer to make more available. Great line of basics to start with though!
And I haven’t forgotten the accessories … I have a few full lines of clothing and coordinated accessories – imagine the hit you’ll be with coordinated dress and bag, tops and bottoms, all in colourful gorgeous art inspired quality!
I’m open to taking requests as well – I’m flat out trying to provide the biggest range I can, so I don’t have all styles available in all prints yet. Everything is organised into mini-collections by name (Rosalee, Cora, Jana etc) – for example on this page I’ve shown the Rosalee Asymmetrical Hem Dress, the Rosalee Plus Size Boat Neck Top, and the Cora Neoprene Day Tote. If you’re in love with the “Rosalee” colours, but need the Day Tote – just ask!
And last but most definitely not least, ALL of these designs are created by me, using my original paintings – you won’t find them anywhere else. And every item within each collection is created using the same painting – solids within the collection are dyed with colours extracted from the original paintings as well. So shop Peony, Cora, Rosalee or Abigail, and you know you’re going to have a coordinated look to step out in style!
