Temptation and tears
The only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it. Resist it, and your soul grows sick with longing for the things it has forbidden itself, with desires for what its monstrous laws have made monstrous and unlawful.
Temptation and tears is the 3rd of 4 paintings in my “Love affair” series – all about my love of magenta and the terrible temptation to use it in each painting.
Each of the “Love affair” paintings is approximately 16×16 inches on stretched canvas. I recommend framing in a tray frame (aka canvas floater) for optimal presentation, however if you choose “No frame” your painting will be wired and ready to hang when you receive it.
