The pond

I live by a salt marsh, fed by various and numerous estuaries, and by the quiet harbour. It influences me heavily – I love to look out onto the water as I work, or just sit and think.

It is at first glance quiet, but on closer inspection is filled with many many small details, and a lot of activity. In this, it is much like the salt marsh and its bountiful life .
