From a short story in “The Girls’ Own Journal” (1892), a pair of hikers stumble upon a fallen tree and move it out of their way. In doing so they relocate the nest of this bluebird, who become very confused!
This chunky little painting is 6×6” square on deep cradled panel. The sides are painted a creamy white, and it is ready for hanging. Because the cradle is deep, this painting can also stand on its own for a spot of whimsy on your desk or bookshelf.
